The humble bicycle can be thing of rare beauty. A chic vintage bicycle makes me think of wicker baskets, picnics and Paris. Check out this post by mrs french on sfgirlbybay for some blissful bicycle inspiration.
This is PANTONE® 14-0848 Mimosa. In case you didn’t know, this is the Pantone Colour of the Year for 2009 – a warm, engaging yellow that in this time of economic uncertainty and political change, provides optimism and expresses hope and reassurance. It is best illustrated by the flowers on the mimosa tree (right). According to Pantone, it is a versatile shade that co-ordinates well with any colour.
Check out this beautiful Willow china by W2 from Shop Until. The black and white colour scheme with that dash of yellow (reminds me of Pantone’s Mimosa) is just sublime, don’t you think.

Love the SF girl blog that brings on nostalgia about one of the most eclectic and exciting cities in the world, ah those were the days. Those photos of the girl are incredible with a fantastic play on light. Why can’t I take a picture like that….time to get a new camera!
