dandelions …

I found several things this week that used dandelions and dragonflies as part of the artwork. It made me realise how much I am drawn to them. They are wonderfully intricate while appearing so simple.

I love the art of trompe l’oeil, especially the more classic varieties used in home decor like below, but this mural by artist John Pugh is amazing. A-mazing. Even the woman peering into the ruins ~ not real. All part of the illusion. You can see more of his work over here. (via twitter)
