This week’s Words and Pictures theme from Pip is fragrant.
As I went about my day, I was struck by the different smells that accompany all my ‘doing’.
Hence this collaboration.
Who can resist the smell of some yummy food cooking? Today for us it’s potato and leek soup. And the bouquet of fresh flowers filling a room is equally hard to resist.
I love how smells can be associated with memories, comfort and evoke happiness. The children come home this afternoon to a house filled with food smells and ask “what’s for dinner?”
It will be interesting to see everyone else’s interpretations here.
