Getting some birthday cards done for family members and a small bash this weekend. So some gift shopping and wrapping, cards to make, and some creating going on in the kitchen. (And a whole lot of tidying up that I won’t show pictures of here) It is nice to drag the stamps and the paper back out and create something that you know will be appreciated.
I found this great typewriter picture via Love. Obsess. Inspire and it is by Yankee Doodles. You can get it here. I am using it for a card for my dad who is a journo.
More creative spaces over at Kirsty’s.

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
Looks gorgeous – love stamps.

Awesome. I haven’t seen a date stamp since I helped out in the school library. It’s so cool
Oh, thanks for the typewriter pic link, I was just looking at it behind your stamps and thinking how great it was – wondered if you’d done it yourself!
I love this pic. Just gorgeous.
Ah, I love the date stamp! I haven’t seen one of those in forever, and now I find myself wanting one!
This looks like it’s going to be a great card – the typewriter will look brilliant – lucky Dad! : )
Wow. It looks fantastic. Love the typewriter and the date stamp. Great photo
Handmade cards are the best. I think I need to get out my gocco and get some paper supplies!
