Last week I alluded to some projects I was thinking about and on Thursday I featured my new toy, my very own Polaroid camera.
Well one of those projects was the Polar0id and some film experimenting in general. I love the look of polaroids ~ the colour, the flaws ~ and so hope to build up a little collection with what is left of the film (I have stocked up o I have something to play with but it still has to be rationed). Thanks to the arrival of this little gem, I have some of my mojo back and looking forward to a more productive week.
A few people commented on the rarity and expense of film so I thought I should just clarify. Yes, film is rare because Polaroid have stopped making it. Therefore, the old supply versus demand questions means it also getting very expensive.
However, there is some good news ~ thanks to save polaroid and the impossible project, all might not be lost.
And amongst all the creativity of the blogosphere, as someone who can’t sew or crochet or knit, I feel like I may have found my creative niche ~ photography and paper craft. These are the two things I love. I love creating with these mediums. Doesn’t mean I am any good, but it gives me a focus and something to work on.

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
I loved my polaroid – not a full sized, it was a little joy cam – but I can’t find the film cartridge for it. So, I downloaded poladroid, and spent the weekend playing with it. Still love the originals though…
Thes shots are awesome. I love the polaroid!
It’s great how a new “toy” can inspire us again… so glad you have joined in the game.
