I had the eldest of the small ones at home today with a sniffly, snivelling cold ~ so no school today for him. Which meant a quiet day at home for me, too. {I got some lovely things done, but more on that tomorrow}
So after a day on the couch, he was pretty happy when his little brother came home from preschool so they could play our new game ~ Junior Monopoly.
{This is brilliant for the 5 ~ 8 year old age group. They have simplified the game so well, everything is single digits, and it is great for their strategic thinking and numeracy skills. I highly recommend it. And mums and dads won’t mind the occasional game either ~ just as much fun but a lot quicker than traditional monopoly}
I blogged about board games once before here

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
My kids have this game. It’s one of very few that I actually ENJOY playing with them. They’re not silly, they know if our hearts aren’t in it, so it’s a win-win all round!
Ahhh such fond chilhood memories of playing this game with my brothers!
