my creative space …

Following on from sending off a parcel for the lovely package exchange at the start of the week, I have been busy putting together and planning other packages.

This one is for a friend, who lives a few hours away from me and was having a difficult time. I bought this print off etsy a while ago but had not gotten around to packaging it up (v. slack). But I’m sort of glad I hadn’t because I had the opportunity to put lots of other lovely things with it and I am sure it will surprise and delight her.

I included:

  • Notecards with a summery feel, which I printed and trimmed and packaged, from here
  • Sweet little cards from here
  • A little package of my postcards
  • I designed and printed the labels and little gift seals yesterday. {check back tomorrow for a download}

Subsequently, for a bit of realism, this is my desk ~ part of the actual creative space ~ which is a mixture of tools and scraps from putting together said packages, and is accompanied by piles of paperwork for our freelance business. I usually adjourn several metres out the door to the dining table for more space to trim and parcel up.

Now I am off to design a little card for a friend who is moving and put together some photos to send family. Loving lovely packages!

More creative spaces ~ and quite possibly some lovely redwork in progress I’m guessing ~ being hosted by Kootoyoo

ps. almost forgot ~ here is the finished coffee table from last week.

    What gorgeous images. I have to laugh about the “realism” of your desk. I can’t even find mine to create at the moment! Thanks for sharing. Anita. xx

    Lovely labels :-) I love parcels that have lots of bits that are individually wrapped! It makes the very pleasurable experience of opening up surprises last that much longer!
