Not a whole lot of creating this week ~ but a lot reading, or creative thinking if you will.
Apart from a never-ending list of wonderful blogs, on my reading list is (BTW, I didn’t get them from Amazon, it just seemed like the best place to link to for information):
- Raising Your Spirited Child ~ recommended by a friend. This is in aid of better ways of dealing with No.2. (She has a website)
- Blogging for Bliss ~ a newish book out, which I saw on other blogs. Features lots of lovely blogs, (including Australia’s own Loobylu) how they started, what tools they use etc. Was intrigued by its offerings and because it looked so lovely. Author Tara Frey has a website and blog.
- Style Statement ~ Again, saw it on other blogs where people raved about it. Intrigued by the idea of two words defining your sense of self. Hoping it will tone down my somewhat Gemini-like fickle nature. Also website | blog
What I really need is a book called “Stop Procrastinating: Get in There and Clean the Damn Study”.
More creativity can be found via here (while the hostess is enjoying a holiday somewhere warm)

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
I need that book too! Perhaps one called “Get off the damn computer and make something” would be helpful also. LOL! Happy Thursday to you, whatever it holds
Anita. xx
Wow those all sound great…I am sure you have just led a lot of us into some creative thinking too
Ha! That last bit about the needed book made me laugh. I’ve eyed that Blogging for Bliss book too.
Thanks for the links. Will be very interested to check out the blog one.
Who said creativity is something you make with your hands? I reckon creative thinking is definitely as important.
I am sooooo good at procrastinating too!!!! We can procrastinate together
Who are you kidding? As if you would buy a book called “Stop Procrastinating: Get in There and Clean the Damn Study” when you can spend your money on way more interesting, inspiring and hopefully helpful books like these!!! xx
Thanks for the book intro. They all look like a great read. Especially Raising Your Spirited Child…would love some pointers on power struggles
It’s nice to just sit in the quiet and read…
I saw that Blogging for Bliss and thought about getting it. Is it any good so far?
good reading list ~ i wish i had time to read, i really miss it!
hilarious….no way…..enjoy your read..:)
I could do with “Get off the damn computer and make something” too but then I probably wouldn’t get around to reading it because I’m always on the computer
I’ve been eying off Blogging for Bliss too, is it really that good? Should I exercise my itchy clicker finger? Oh yeah, you and I both on the last title!! : D
Love the list of books. Hadn’t heard of Blogging for Bliss but my library has it. WOO HOO!
