I actually have a whole set on flickr for shoes. I seem to spend quite some time snapping my feet, or other people’s feet.
The above would have to be my favourite pair. My RM Williams boots, I have been wearing the same pair for the past 16 (!!!) years. One small hole has been patched, and they have been resoled and reheeled several times. In winter I live in them.
These are my favourite going out shoes. They are a splurge but I wear them a lot ~ sometimes with jeans, sometimes for more dressier occasions. This is the second pair of a similar ilk, they are amazingly comfortable despite the high heel, which is why I find it pays to invest in a decent pair. {My first pair of similar shoes would have lasted longer if it wasn’t for a broken heel and nibble from the mutt).

16 years – that is so cool! I l think quality is so important in shoes, but I have to admit I am a bit tight when it comes to shoe spending – fabric not so much.
