By now, you have probably done all your online Christmas shopping, and it’s probably a little too late to be pointing out this group of people.

But nevermind, you can bookmark for next year, or maybe you will have time to go trawling through their stores during the Christmas break to do a bit of window shopping. Either way, if one of your New Year’s Resolutions include the words handmade and local, then this might interest you.

I found the DUST team a couple of weeks ago, thanks to the lovely Bec, who pointed me in their direction when I was looking for Australian handmade items for Christmas.

The DUST team on Etsy is the Down Under Street Team ~ a collection of Australian artisans, easily found on etsy by the tags “dust team”.

They also have an excellent website at dustteam.com and, if you are a member, you can join in their excellent forum. They are a very active and helpful group and I encourage all Aussies to check it out.
