It suddenly occurred to me that we are almost halfway through January and I was yet to show off some of wonderful things I got at Christmas.
On top you can see the lovely zine Spoonful, which I first spotted on the interwebs. Hubby very kindly bought it for Christmas and we received the most lovely note from the editor Anthea. You can find Spoonful over here. I can’t wait to see Issue #2.

Underneath is Jennifer Altman’s photo book Little Italy from here. I actually picked this up for myself, I couldn’t resist it when it came with her polaroid calendar as a free gift. And a lovely print thrown in. But I kept it tightly wrapped until Christmas Day which meant I got to enjoy the unwrapping as much as if someone else had bought it for me.

And last, but certainly not least, Hubby’s big Christmas surprise.

A Girls’ Annual from 1974. {as you can probably guess, a special year for me}. This was a huge surprise. Although I shouldn’t be surprised at his ability to find the most amazing things.

I used to love this kind of books too when I was young ~ a fact he probably wasn’t fully aware of. {I still have my copy of a Kid’s Own of stories and things to do ~ a large colour paperback filled with short stories and crafty activities}. I loved how they filled with all different things. Pages I would love, others not so much.

All that reading in one book ~ fabulous.

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
Happy New Year Kellie!
What lovely treasures to start 2010 with…enjoy!
