One of my New Year’s resolutions is to be more organised ~ in life and with blogging. My goal-orientated self wants to blog often, my perfectionist self wants the content to be better. Inspired by this, I made my own sheet for brainstorming my blogging week, with space to write, doodle, think out loud, space for links, and to consider how to spread the word {something I hadn’t really considered before}.

I left space to doodle, write inspiring words, and to remind myself of things that are coming up. It fits inside my diary so I can carry it with me to write things down when inspiration strikes.
I know many people also have plans for their blog and/or online business this year. Hopefully you might find it useful, too.

The pdf has two sheets per page ~ download, print and trim. Get it here.
If you have any tips on how you organise your blogging or online life, we would love you to share them in the comments.

Just curious, what diary do you use and how do
you manage it with your family calendar (if you have one!)

The diary, which you see underneath, is a moleskine 18-month diary which has a week on one side and a lined page on the other. I like it because it has plenty of room for notes.
We don’t really have a family calendar. We have a calendar in the kitchen to write things on. The kids regular activities are programmed into our phones {we have iphones so they sync and transfer off the computer which keeps them up to date}. The kids also have calendars in their rooms which they put their dates on ~ that way they remember and can visualise how long to certain events etc.
I am always looking for the perfect organising solution!

Yes, it seems we do share a birth year.
Me, I’ve given away with the sorted calendars and planners. I have an A6 diary – Filofax style – and a moleskine.

This is a great idea. I try to blog every day and most days I sit in front of the computer going ‘What do I blog about today?’ and it’s frustrating sometimes especially when I have other things going on or I don’t feel good, etc. So thank you very much for sharing this! BTW, I followed your link from the “Blogging Your Way” blogroll.

Hi,
I found you via BMWay (am going to work my way through all the blogs!).
Do you know, I’ve never thought to be that organised with my blogging. I am, I think, a bit too sporadic with it all at the mo which doesn’t help.
I also find I get so bogged down in reading others’ that I sort of lose creative energy.
Anyway, thanks for the food for thought!

Ooooh – this is exactly what I need! Thanks
Maybe then I can get rid of the 15 pieces of scrap paper in my handbag, on the desk, under the desk etc.
Cheers!
