my creative space

February 11th, 201021 Comments

This week it is all about hard work and home redecorating. After a long wait we finally had our living areas painted to some lovely neutral shades. It looks fabulous but also sparked a major clean out and some redecorating. So my creative space is all about odd jobs, moving furniture, cleaning, decluttering and, quite frankly, a lot of dust and mess. Not a lot of fun but I look forward to a glass of wine later on, while I sit on the couch admiring the walls!

You can see some more of my creativity this week with an inspiration board I did here.

See lots more goodness of the crafty variety over at Kootoyoo’s.

Ooo, I love a good plane! So much fun to use! Love your positioning for the photo too – it’s an excellent shot. I love it. (The Mr just looked over my shoulder and said ‘It’s facing the wrong way! Going totally against the grain.”) Some people just don’t get it, do they? ;) Good luck with the renos! K

Don’t stop! Fab shot and you deserve to be super chuffed and smug at the end (with that glass of wine).

yikes, wood planes certainly do equal hard work! But how exciting is rennovating?

Oh how exciting! I can’t wait to get into our house renovations. What colour paint did you go with? We are trying to choose at the moment and it is not easy at all.

My Mr agrees with Kylie’s above… just doesn’t get ‘artistic licence’!

I have a love-hate r’ship with renovating… don’t mind the work, love the result, but the mess in the middle is frustrating!
