my creative space

February 18th, 201016 Comments

I haven’t done nearly as much as I would like this week. But I have lots of exciting ideas swirling around in my head. Mainly involving the abstract picture above. A brainwave, an ebay win and now some playing around and some ideas might come to fruition. We shall see.

Part of the reason I haven’t got as much done, despite the optimism of last week, the small one was diagnosed with shingles  not long after I hit the publish button on last week’s creative space post {and all the hubbies worried about the grain, the photo was staged, we were planing the top of the door and the floorboards were completely safe} . The shambolic house is slowly coming together but here a few pictures of some corners that I will share. My vintage cameras now have their own shelf, at the bottom are the lovely coloured spines of my Inside Out and Real Living magazine collections, little vintage vignette, and the lovely ranunculus print is from wren and chickadee.

Those are the mags I collect too…have yet to find a good place for them though! I can’t fix up my space until a babe moves out of my room…so as much as I’d love my own creative corner I’m not rushing it!
