A quick post today as my internet connection is a little patchy and I went to get in while I can. I have lots of inspiring interviewees lined up for the coming weeks for the interview series, too, so keep an eye out for them. It’s funny, when I sit down to write this post I suddenly get swamped with ideas. I need to write them down so I can work on them later down the track.
Today I thought we would rock out to some tunes. There is nothing like a good song to lift your mood, to motivate and to get you moving. I love music, and in another life I played music. Our small ones are learning the piano, my dad is a drummer. I like all kinds of music and my favourite would depend on what week it is. But today I have shared two tunes and a fun little clip {that I may have shared before}. And yes, both of these songs are on my iPod.
Need to shake things up ~ you can’t go past Boogie Wonderland. The original, of course.
For a bit of cooking groove, or even a bit of “I need to get this work done” groove, I love Melody Gardot. {Thanks to Hubby for giving me the CD at Christmas}
This past weekend I loaned my saxophone out to someone for a wedding. Long story but it reminded how long I have had them and made me think I should go back to playing. I have loved this clip ever since I saw it on Sesame Street.
And around the blogsphere, She + Him Volume Two is very popular. {I only found this past week Zooey is Bones‘ sister!}
What favourite tunes get you moving?

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
That saxophone clip is the most fabulous thing! As a jeweller and metalsmith, I am following exactly what they do, and it’s fascinating. Thanks for sharing
