All the creating this week has involved these. After the internet died and we finally got around to replacing the connections. Unfortunately that failed to fix the internet. So we replaced the ageing modem. Unfortunately that failed to fix the internet. So I rang the ISP-which-shall-not-be named. Unfortunately that failed to the fix the internet ~ for another four days. Because of course it takes at least two business days.
A nice surprise Tuesday morning ~ man knocks on the door to say he found the problem and fixed it. Imagine my joy at seeing all those little lights blinking away there.
Also, another surprise on the weekend when our other issues were resolved and everyone, regardless of ISP, should be able to access the site again. Welcome back. To celebrate I should have had something far more interesting going on ~ or perhaps cake.
The one thing about computer problems, is that they are major time suck. So now that all is right with my online world, I have been furiously catching up on all manner of things that involve cables and keyboards.
Yesterday, I launched a collaboration with Piper from One Sydney Road ~ the first of which you can see here. That’s my dose of creativity this week.
Today, catching up on blog reading and some long overdue creative space visits.
Thanks to the hostess with the mostess.

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
Welcome back! I love that photo, it says so much.
So so glad it’s fixed for good….And love all those mom picks..Especially that yellow bag
…Welcome back!
My husband spent a full week doing all sorts of those same things with cables and connections and such when he decided to rehab his computer. It is a total time suck. Glad you’re back in motion!
There’s an emptiness when those lights don’t blink (is that sad?)
Sweet collaboration x
Oh hooray…so glad to see you again. x
WOO HOO! So glad for you, and me selfishly so I can see you again that it’s fixed!!
sounds like you’ve been living a nightmare!
but happy now!
your collaboration is looking fun
oh boy. I have been there too…lost my wireless connection and was told ‘sorry madam you are in a blackspot and can’t get internet there.’ But I live in a major city and had it last week? “sorry, in a blackspot you cannot get it.’ Until a several phone calls later. When the mysetrious blackspot disappeared and all was fine again…touch wood. Hopefully put it behind and enjoy catching up with blogland!
Hurrah! I’ve been furiously trying to get on to your site and I’m so happy you’re back! How you can make a blinky box and ethernet cable look beautiful, I don’t know, but keep doing it!
yay!!! i can finally see you!
good to have you back Kellie.
♥
Oh computer problems are so horrid! What a relief to have it all sorted out again…
I can sympathize! I didn’t gave internet over Easter and I had severe withdrawal, not to mention the interruption to work and completing orders. Welcome home!
It’s horrible when things don’t work like they should. Glad you are back online. Your collaboration looks great too
Oh yay! I can finally see your blog again! It hasn’t been showing up for me for weeks. I have so much to catch up on!

Well, it’s a great photo – so that’s creative
Glad you have your ‘techie’ problems sorted – not sure what I’d do without my internet link – eeeeek, scary!!!
welcome back =)
Ick, double ick. Every computer/ISP contract should come with a live-in techie.
Net nightmares! Ugggh. Get an iPhone. It’s saved my life and enabled my blog addiction!
Isn’t it funny?
I think we think we are all fine sans computer, and then when it goes, it’s SO NICE when it’s back on!
i rely on the Internet for my work and entertainment and would feel lost if my connection died. i’m happy you’re ack online.
also, many thanks for the tape love via twitter, Kellie.
