Don’t you hate when just as you prepare to post something you find out it has just been done. This is me right now, although I am forging ahead.
I have mentioned I am doing a major clean-out and reorganisation of my bookmarks and starred items in my Google Reader. So many great ideas lost in the depths of the web browser.
Janet Hill Studio was one of them. I first spotted Janet’s work on Amy’s blog Sweet Sweet Life last year. And bookmarked it. {Just this month she also featured on design*sponge where the focus was on her food paintings.}
So trawling through the items I came across Janet’s work {and tagged it ~ my new system} and was again drawn in by her paintings of shoes and dresses. The first one here is my favourite. I love the style, the fashion, the colours. It wasn’t until I popped across to her shop that I found out she also does many food-inspired works, too. {and about the design*sponge mention}.
I still think her beautiful work is worth sharing. Why don’t you bookmark it! Her prints would make a lovely gift for your fashion-loving friend that has everything.
