I am joining in with M*’s Friday Favourites. It is lovely to look back at the week and think of things that stand out for you. There are several really, including this that I posted about yesterday, but I choose this for several reasons.
1. It is by no means perfect, but I like this photo. I took it while driving (ssh don’t tell anyone ~ although all I did was hold the camera up and click) so that is my dash you see blurred at the bottom. Plus, it would all that more authentic if it wasn’t for the stupid roadworks sign you can see through the windscreen and the bins etc.
2. I love this car. I saw it twice yesterday ~ the second time of which I took this photo as I was heading home after ‘doing a photo shoot’ in the gardens and so the camera was on the seat beside me. I snapped the photo and used Pioneer Woman’s Seventies action for the colour.
3. I love that it represents I am getting more adventurous with my photography and snapping something because I want to. Not just thinking about it and being too scared to do it. (although it might mean I am a slight danger on the roads ~ I promise not to make a habit of it)
4. It has also shown to me, as has flickr, some of what I like. I love the soft colours of polaroids, vintage items, and I wish I had more opportunities to take photos like this.
