This wonderful group of colours is Pantone’s Fashion Colour Report for Fall 2009. But I thought it was an inspiring collection for Winter Down Under 2009.
The Pantone report, which focuses on fashion and beauty, also suggests pairings, like the true red of American Beauty with the refinement and sensuality of Purple Heart; or pair Purple Heart with Honey Yellow for a surprising flair; “new black” Iron goes well with timeless neutrals Nomad and Creme Brulee; use seasonal favourite Burnt Sienna with Nomad and Rapture Rose for a different twist; match the tangy Warm Olive with the exotic flair of Majolica Blue.
