74 ways to be inspired ~ a different perspective

So I am thinking of making 74 ways into a bit of an occasional series. And yesterday, on a glorious sunshine-filled holiday day, I started lifting my camera upwards and snapping. I was struck by the lines and also by some of the brilliant colour in its simplest form ~ the sky, clouds, trees, outlines. Beauty, unexpected places.

I was first struck by this on Sunday when we went for a walk, down the main street, and I looked, really looked at the top of the buildings. I have lived in this city for, um, a little over 20 (gulp) years, I never really noticed these guys before.

In photography, some of the best photos are taken from a different perspective ~ up, down, sideways.  Sometimes it is important to look around and see things through new eyes.
