Well two spaces this week.

I’m getting stuff ready to send off this weekend for the lovely package exchange. Hope I am not giving too much away. These are some postcards I got printed up from some photos I took especially for this purpose. (My handmade part of the package). My partners are Lee from Strawberries and Champagne and Julie from Comfort Studio.

Elsewhere in the creative space is this mess above. This is our coffee table, lovingly crafted by Hubby when the larger of the small ones was very small and we needed something to replace our glass-topped coffee table. It was built as a storage unit, inside are compartments to house newspapers on one side (with the space measured to fit) and the smaller side was perfect for magazines. The top, which consists of two lids that open up, was covered in a light cord with a red toile around the bottom, both of which, after several years, have had their day. So with the painting turned over to professionals, Hubby has the time to do this project instead. Possibly a daring fabric choice this time around but we limited ourselves to something a little bit more wearing ~ finished product next week.

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
Super sweet packages, sounds like hubby will be doing his fair share of creating this week.. Liking the fabric too.
Beautiful little packages! Good luck with the coffee table revamp!
How great to have such an important part of the loungeroom (where would we be without a coffee table!) crafted by your husband. And how lovely to have a project to do together.
the packages wrapped always make me so happy…talented hubby as well!

I lovely wrapped and ribboned packages – they look so exciting. I must have a very strong voltage coming out of my computer screen – I can’t see what the fabric looks like, I’m sorry

I think I need one of those coffe tables – sounds brilliant having something purpose-built. Look forward to seeing the makeover.
Lovely pile of packages. Look forward to seeing the finished coffee table.
Hi Kellie – Thanks for the creative space comment – maybe you should reward your hubby’s hard work on the coffee table with some homemade bread!! Pizza dough sounds good though – I’ll have to try it!
