the {long} weekend and catching up on a photo a day

I broke my run last week and slacked off posting photos for both my 365 project and a photo a day for august. Not to say I wasn’t taking photos ~ cause I was ~ and we were having a ball as well.

So day 20 was my creative space and Hubby re-covering the coffee table.

Day 21 was very exciting ~ we went out for dinner with good friends to a fancy restaurant. Following, a sample of what we ate. Fabulous.

{soccer ~ or football ~ time}

Day 22 ~ froze our you-know-whats off at the soccer gala day. The day promised so much in the morning, glorious sunshine, and turned out overcast and cold. Nevertheless, the small ones had a blast and got their certificate. That’s that for another year.

{the old and the new}

Day 23 was full of birthday parties (other’s small ones) and this snap I took in the afternoon. Testing out a new photo spot while also taking a shot of this new addition to the family ~ an original box brownie. This is actually the window of our eldest’s room and I spotted his camera on the shelf. So that’s his on the left naturally, but the lovely symmetry is that the brownie comes from my husband’s family and his Mum dug it out for me. Hubby particularly remembers it because he took it on an excursion to the zoo when he was only a couple of years older than our eldest is now. The case even has his name and school written on the front.

Phew. So I am all caught up and ready for another week!
