This is really my first proper blogtoberfest post aside from my usual daily posting.
It falls into too cute not too share category ~ spring babies we saw on our road trip.
A little chick, only days old and venturing from the roost with mum for the first time at my aunt’s house.
A cute little joey at the cabins where we stayed a couple of nights on the coast. You could see the joey moving about in the pouch (ouch ~ poor mum) before he stuck his head out on the day we were leaving.

I hope this question doesn’t sound too ignorant, but do kangaroos just live, well… anywhere? You mentioned the coast and I just realized that I know absolutely nothing about them! The only place I would ever have a chance to see one here in the US would be at a zoo and I know that I haven’t.
I’m just curious!
Oh, they are so sweet. Even the mamas are gorgeous — I bet they are proud.
