Louise has picked this week’s theme ~ and it’s a goodie ~ adventure. It got me thinking.
My most interesting adventure would have been back in my university days, when I went to Papua New Guinea with my family. Unfortunately, it was pre-digital and so I would have to rifle through the photo albums to find pictures. Liesl got me thinking about the snow ~ we had a great day trip to Mount Buffalo last year which involved lots of fun tobogganing.
But then I thought about the greatest adventure I embarked on, almost 11 years ago now ~ life with Hubby.
This photo, which I had to scan in, is from our wedding day. Hubby is on the left, my dad on the right. We are up to the part when I get “given away”.
This is great adventure ~ full of everything that makes a great story: Love, laughter, happiness, sadness, tears, joy, fun. Not to mention the bonus of two little boys. A lifelong adventure.

Marriage is a huge adventure. I thought about posting a picture of my wedding planner folder, but then thought people might think I was an organizational freak or something. Which I am, but that’s another story.
