Wow, is it Thursday already. And unlike some, I haven’t been snoozing on the job.
My week has flown by in a series of frustrating calls to an ISP-which-shall-not-be-named to fix the problem of said ISP users not being able to get to this site, as well a small handful of other websites {all related to me in one way or another ~ their problem, not mine, so I wish they would just fix it already} and attempting to finish off some freelance projects.
I snapped the picture above yesterday of the mutt having a nap in the sunshine. Some of you may have seen it on Twitter. If I ran a caption competition, Cindy would probably wins hands down. Her tweet: “Looks like another tough day protecting property and people”. It really is a dog’s life.

The one thing I did get done this week was print the Simplicity series. Next I want to organise some postcards and hopefully work on a shop update very soon. As soon as I find some more hours in the day.

And the confession. I let my 365 project go. It started a slow slide downhill late last year when we took a road trip and I got behind updating the flickr set. Then it was summer, things got busy as they do and the time for taking photos was sucked up by goodness knows what. Then the unthinkable happened, although I can’t pinpoint the date, I know in the past six weeks I missed a day. And the realisation of that meant any motivation I had left to continue slid right down the black hole.
Truth is, I wasn’t happy with a lot of the photos. But the project did fulfill its purpose in that I learned more about ~ everything. So now I am dwelling on a new project but have yet to decide on an idea, or the timing.
But this is a small selection of the ones I did like, all for very different reasons. 1. 365 project, 2. 12/365 ~ ladies who lunch, 3. 19/365 ~ practice, 4. 28/365 ~ a visit to the art gallery, 5. 32/365 ~ playing cars, 6. 66/365 ~ does two a collection make, 7. 8/365 ~ today we went bowling, 8. 92/365 ~ pretty plates, 9. 135/365 ~ fresh, 10. 140/365 ~ street fair, 11. 100/365 ~ document everything, 12. 146/365 ~ wheely yellow, 13. 76/365 ~ in the mail today14. Looking forward to seeing some creative peeps over at the headquarters.

I hope you won’t let that black hole get all over you =) I think you photos are lovely!!!
Gorgeous postcards and love the 365 images.
The simplicity shots look great. It really is a dogs life isn’t it.
Seeing the pic of your pup makes me miss mine right now…they look so similar! and wouldn’t it be great to live a dog’s life for just one day! i could stand a day of napping
your photos are just so lovely – i understand what you mean about needing more time in the day – but what you’ve done with your time is impressive
I know what ISP you’re talking about…I can’t access your site from my home computer so here I am reading it at work (except flickr-hosted photos are blocked here). Oh well.
