Spreading a little love today and trying something different. Just for fun. And I have a bit of time on my hands now, on top of our server issues {ongoing}, our at-home internet connection is a little patchy. {thanks to a small child’s foot connecting with ageing socket}. So it comes and goes which means sometimes, gasp, I have to step away from the computer.
I was inspired by something similar but now I can’t find a link. I can work in my preferred medium, computer, and then add my own touch. I am using water-coloured pencils with a water pen. I need some practice getting the right mix of colour and water though. School holidays start today too so this will be something I can do with the small ones over the break.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy Easter.

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
Looking great
so gorgeous … i haven’t done any watercolours in ages.

Love the quote and I also like using the computer to get a design the way I want and then add to it by hand… hybrid I suppose! I just bought a set of water color pencils, but not sure exactly how I want to use them! I sort of thought they leave a bit of a sketchy look, but they completely “disappear” with the water so I was surprised! Maybe it’s just a water issue – I should get myself one of those water pens you have, looks cool!
So clever that you combine both your fave mediums. Happy Easter
I love watercolors =) I wish I’d practive it more offten.
Happy Holiday
Very sweet! I love using watercolour pencils, I’ll have to get them out to play again soon.
Love the quote! I love watercolor paintings…they’re always so light and airy and pretty!
