snail mail goodness

The post gods have been especially kind to me this week.

First up, giveaway prizes from Elissa, which travelled all the way across the country. Can you guess what’s inside?

Aren’t they a hoot! Little baby owl family from Melp Designs, Owl brooch from White Square and another owl plush brooch who was too shy to be photographed apparently from Pigeonhole.In the top picture you can also see a very cool card from Remedy {loving the grid paper background} and make your own lion postcard from Monkey Design.

Some of you may I help Nic with a little project. Recently she sent me a little thank you package. In it, one of her fab tram roll tea towels {too good to use, might follow her lead and frame it}, a lovely mother’s day card and a vintage Life magazine, which quite frankly is so amazing it shall be getting its own post! Let’s just say, I was chuffed, thrilled, excited, giddy, stunned to receive it.

Also in the mail came my scarf from uimi. This is the Lola scarf brown, it is gorgeously soft, if only you could feel it through the screen. If only the weather would cool down so I could wear it! {It’s forecast to be 28 degrees here today ~ enough already, I am feeling cheated by the absence of the lovely autumn weather I am craving}.
