This week, creatively speaking, I have been working on some handmade items for a friend who is fighting a battle. Because I can’t be with her, I thought I would take advantage of the distance and put my efforts into putting together little happy packages to send to her. Everybody loves getting mail, right.
So this week I have been putting together a little handmade notebook filled with what I hope are inspirational quotes. I made up with a variety of backgrounds including grid, lines and plain so it can be used for remembering things, doodling or whatever and I also made her a mix tape {I got the fantastic artwork for the cover, just what I was looking for, here. It’s by Liz Baillie.}

Yesterday, I also took these photos {part of a much l-a-r-g-e-r selection}. The flowers were part of a bunch Hubby bought home on Mother’s Day eve {I had a fabulous day, thank you} and I started splitting them up into smaller bouquets when I realised, with a background here and a prop there, well there’s a purdy picture. All that time last week spent looking for inspiration and I didn’t really have to leave my lounge room. Figures!

- Download the notebook pages here {A4 size cut into A5 for the notebook, with some trim room. Just make a cover, staple, sew or bind and you’re away. There are in total four pages, I printed them twice, once through on the front and then once on the back}.
