friday freebie ~ july calendar

July is just around the corner and I am appearing super-organised by getting in before the actual  start of the month with a new calendar download. Can you believe half of the year is over already?

For us down under it also means end of financial year and tax time ~ not my finest hour {as I have not long finished the 08-09 tax year return} ~ so a new month and a new financial year means a new start, vows to better organised and if you can swing it, new office supplies. {I can’t file without new things}.

So I’m including this quick and simple tips I came across the other day to turn your busyness into productivity this month.

  1. Make a “Get Done” list: Five items only, no more, and make it a mix of easy things and big things, but not overwhelming.
  2. Prioritise your list ~ 1 through to 5.
  3. Set a time to complete each item and make it realistic.
  4. Alert. Tell the people around you about your system so they don’t become a distraction.
  5. Stick with it ~ Put into action and stay with it for 30 days until it becomes an actual system. Tweak and finesse so it fits your life.

And download a calendar to keep track!

The files are pdfs ~ right-click on the link and Save Target/Link As. If you have any problems downloading, and some people have, email me and I will be happy to send you out a version.

{for personal use only, feel free to share but link back to this post ~ thank you}

    Every time I click the link I get a 404 page and no calendar. :( Is it not linked correctly, or is it me?

    Gorgeous pic, lady! There’s a small but shrill shriek happening in the nethermost region of the brain, but it’s gathering momentum (and volume) and I suspect once it screams out of my mouth I shall be back here to download and accordingly organise!

    I just printed this out and started mapping out the rest of the month. Thankyou, part of the overwhelm I was feeling this morning was from having so many things on my to do list with no real time scale for achievements. This calendar has helped me map it out and feel a little lighter. (See if I hadn’t gotten so far behind in the blogs I like to read I might have done this earlier and not ended up in the mess I have been in lately!).
