Small Notebook is a completely new find for me. I came across it when one of my facebook friends {who has a sister who blogs here} linked to it with the note “This is the blog I wished I had written”.
I bookmarked it and on a wet and gloomy Saturday afternoon, started having a poke around, following some breadcrumbs through the site, gleaning tips on laundry and batch cooking.
Rachel, who lives in Texas with her husband and their two children, in a city apartment. She shares tips on simplifying, organising {“without buying more storage containers”} and keeping house. All toned with a sense of humour and a realistic touch.
I think I’ve said it before, but I am such a stickybeak, so I love sites like this that share the tips on day-to-day living with real world examples. I love being able to relate, to pick up new ideas and know that I’m not alone. This is one of the things that make blogging so great.
And how can you resist a site that has a post “Messy with Purpose”?
Pop along to Small Notebook here ~ add it to your reader, and put aside some time to trawl the archives.

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
ooo Rachel was one of the first blogs I started following…her blog is definitely a great find!
loving the word “stickybeak”

Kellie, thank you! Your blog is simply gorgeous and as I look through it I keep finding more to bookmark. Thanks for your kind words.
