Monday, monday. One thing can be said for Monday ~ it’s a new week, which means a fresh beginning. I’ve spent the morning, tidying my desk and study, catching up on some bill paying, doing a quick load of laundry, crossing a couple of things off the to do list. Dull? Yes. But ultimately, very satisfying. So now I can reward myself with some eye candy and home inspiration. Browing pinterest these past couple of days I suddenly realised what “style” of home I like. And naturally it has a lot of to do with our lifestyle ~ two boys, a dog, sport, music, creative pursuits and two full-time working parents.

So what is it? Uncontrived. Those homes that look stylish, but have an element  of comfort, lived-in, put together but looking like “I just threw this on”. I guess it also appeals because you think, I can achieve that. Well for two minutes before small ones come home, anyhow.
