The trouble with writing this post today was really, I had too much inspiring me. But I’m finding inspiration all over ~ from measures of support, recognition of a job well done, a lovely photograph, a fresh notebook, a provoking blog post, a great recipe. Lots of projects on the go, deadlines to meet, exciting things happening ~ I find I’m calm while being overwhelmed, a funny combination.
I’m tweaking odds and ends around here and have lots of plans and exciting things lined up. But today, I’m keeping it simple and reverting to a tried and true formula ~ a simple list of some of the things inspiring me today. And I ask you: What’s inspiring you today?
Here’s mine:
- A quote to help tackle the long list of project:
Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small jobs. – Henry Ford
- Adele at Modern Emotive’s post here on competitors and running at your own pace and Bridgett of Perideau Designs post here on just doing.
- Sarah Wilson’s post here on brown rice {stick with me on this one}. This post inspires me to eat better and be more organised in the kitchen. Sarah’s tips on using brown rice and what to do with it are simple and straightforward and make me think, I can do this.
- Keri Smith’s post here and Amanda’s follow-up post here relating to putting yourself out there with this key paragraph {which Amanda also highlighted}:
You never know what will come up when you just put yourself out into the world in new and unexpected ways. People you didn’t know you were looking for are bound to find you. The universe opens and gives you little surprise gifts.
This past week or so in particular I have found this to be true.
So today, or this week, what or who is inspiring you?

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
I am inspired by blogs, such as yours. Reading about the progress of others is encouraging.
Beautiful post..And funny enough that brown rice info was perfect. I have just started eating it and didn’t know these little tricks..So thank you for giving me the info I didn’t know I needed. Consider me inspired
