my creative space

Well, last week was a pretty good week. Lots happening, good news, bit of excitement.

Can you believe it got better?!

First up, my wholesale order travelled the length of an entire state, arrived safe and sound and was considered “exceptional”. Good news!

I tentatively started investigated some other options for selling my wares, as markets aren’t really the thing in my area of regional NSW.

So to cut a long story short, from September 1, my prints and cards will be available from Shop Handmade in Canberra! {ok, so the excitement level is ramping up a notch now!}

But wait, there’s more.

On Monday morning, I received a lovely email from Lou, one of the creative forces of Maeve Magazine, {I had linked to their new issue ~ which features the talented belinda aka gretchenmist on the weekend} who wondered if I might be interested in being a regular contributor!

I KNOW! {The excitement level is officially off the charts} So from issue 3, yours truly will be writing the Webster and Bloglog features.

The fact that on Tuesday, I posted off five orders all at once, almost pales in comparison! {but was also a very big deal ~ they made such a lovely pile}

And {I’m not finished yet}, it’s easy to forget that after last week’s space, the new front door for 74 Lime Lane was officially put up. You can see a sneak peek of it over there on the right or go here for the full screen view. A huge thank you to Hubby who took the idea, ran a mile with it and built it! {x}

The fact that just over a year ago I had started a little blog, and was thinking of selling a few things on Etsy, I can’t believe this is where it has led me and how many unintentional goals I have ticked off along the way.

My creative space? Equals lots of packaging, card backing, labelling, crossing off of to-do lists and a million ideas.

So blogosphere ~ thank you and I heart you.

In case you might have missed it:

  • Lime Light this week featured Tasmanian printer Ruby Victoria, who also kindly offered one of her teacup stack prints to give away. Enter here
  • I’m having a sale! All 8×12 prints are only $10. Details, and a sneak peek of some new cards, here
