Don’t get too close this week, my creative space has mainly been here, wallowing in the misery that is a bad cold. I’m fortunate though this is the first one I have had all year, but of course it has hit me with all its might.
Luckily for me, right before the onset I made batch of this fabulous soup which has been giving me sustenance and my trusty laptop has been serving me well from my position on the couch.
Surprisingly, I got a little more done that I thought I would, despite an inherent lack of motivation. It seems this slow pace suits getting stuff done. And I’m taking the hint and trying to take things a little easy until the suffering passes. {And shaking myself out of self-pity, it is only a cold, there are much worse things}
I did get a bunch of goodies off to Shop Handmade this week and almost finished my calendar {’bout flippin’ time}. And put some new little things in the shops.
For a healthy dose of creativity and inspiration, head to Kootoyoo’s.

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.
Aw, feel better soon hon & take it as easy as you have to, dare I say, even try to enjoy the ‘slow’?
I do hope you feel better soon. Nice to see you’ve been able to roll with the pace.

It’s funny how life just makes you take a break wether you want to or not. Hope you’re feeling better soon.
You know what they say, “Slow and sure wins the race” I find that taking it easy is often better than running around like a chook without a head. Hope you get bett er soon
Goodness I hope you are on the tail end of that cold. BLAH. Yay for productivity at the very least.

Sorry to hear you are still under the weather. Glad you are taking it easy on yourself.
Hope your better really soon.
the colds this year are so full-on! i felt pretty healthy, just before i got mine, even after watching the rest of the family go through it. then it took 2 weeks away! hope you are feeling better soon. {you seem pretty organised with your calendar, i wouldn’t worry
}
Poor you. Although, if that soft, snuggly blanket and steaming mug are what colds at your place are all about, can I please have one too? Hope you’re feeling better soon. x
Nothing fun about colds…but it’s a great excuse to lie low and take it slow for a change! Hope you’re fighting fit again soon!
That looks like an incredibly cozy spot. Minus the sickness, I wouldn’t mind being in it myself. Feel better!
