{sponsor post} moonmum for mother’s day and more

I know we are still snacking on Easter chocolate but Mother’s Day is now just around the corner. In fact it is just a little over a week away {Sunday, May 8 if you were still wondering}.

But Belinda at MoonmuM has you covered, starting with these gorgeous mother bird cards which are now available in her shop. You can’t go past these for a lovely unique card for Mother’s Day or a new mum.

Belinda’s wallpaper notebooks have been revamped and are now bound with wire and contain 40 pages inside. Each notebook features vintage wallpaper on the front and back cover and a little sewn critter on the front. There’s some lovely new wallpaper designs on the way, too.

A collection of things to do with string by Tangentine

Okay, so I know it’s Wednesday today, but it really feels like a Monday. The five-day holiday has left me really lost and I feel like the week is just beginning today.

Not to mention my semi-hiatus from all things online over the break.

But. Things are starting to fall back into place today and I’m looking down the barrel of my to do list again, so that makes things feel a little bit more normal. Hubby has gone back to work, small ones head back to school tomorrow and I can go back to filling le blog with loveliness and inspiration again starting now.

I found this lovely treasury when doing a little search this morning ~ such a clever theme.

I’m using this as my inspiration today, motivation to think “outside the box”. Try a new tack on things in an effort to get lots done.

How would you think “outside the box” today?

tuesday’s top 5: a list for the holidays ~ what’s left of them, anyhow

I’ve been a bit MIA today, I have to admit. We’ve been out scouting for a microwave to fit the tiny microwave hole in our kitchen so we can free up some bench space, then we bought some dinner plates, looked at toasters ~ all for our “new ” kitchen.

But the countdown is now on for the last few days of my holidays and the last day of the small ones’ holidays ~ and it’s time to make the most of it.

So some thing I would like to achieve by the end of the week to round out a happy holiday.

  1. Paint my nails and be a little bit different ~ completely frivolous but there is nothing nice than having pretty nails.
  2. Review my new year goals from way back when ~ there are a couple of things on there need to be done in the holidays.
  3. Take lots and lots photos. Of anything and everything.
  4. Finish the kitchen, hopefully clean the laundry. More work but it needs to be done. And it will be muchos satisfying to get done.
  5. Enjoy a dose of autumn sunshine ~ a book, the computer or whatever and enjoy it outside.

That’s my week. What about you?
