1. pink and bee, 2. ready for take-off, 3. four, 4. 80/365 ~ jobs for sunny days
Here in Australia, it will officially be spring on Thursday. After a somewhat dreary winter, photography wise, I’m looking forward to the colour spring will bring.
Today I thought I would give you five ideas for spring-inspired photos. It is such a great time of year to be out snapping.
- Blossoms ~ start now as the tiny buds form on the trees. Soon the gardens will be alive with colour and we will be spoilt for choice.
- Butterflies ~ tricky to catch but so worth it when you do. Hopefully we will see more start fluttering around the garden soon.
- Golden sun ~ The warmth of the sun in autumn and winter can’t be matched, particularly at sunrise and sunset. Capture the last few of the warm rays before the harsh light of summer arrives.
- Green grass ~ Is there anything better than sinking your bare feet in the cool of the long grass. Green is such a great fresh colour and a fantastic backdrop.
- Baby animals ~ Spring means new life, head out of town to capture some sweet lambs and calves in the paddocks. This is one for me for sure.
And maybe, if you are lucky, you might find a nest, see some baby birds or catch a rainbow.
