{seeds} on being happy

being happy

My interpretation of this is you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.

Yesterday was a grey and rainy in Casa Lime Lane town, and my mood matched it. A grey funk. A little lost, a little cranky. And as you can imagine in a house with smalls, it becomes catching.

It was not how I wanted my Sunday to pan out, I’ll admit. But I couldn’t for the life of me shake it. And hindsight, that beautiful thing, makes me see it was probably more my high expectations of the perfect weekend than anything else. The blame rests with me.

And that’s okay. I can live with that. There were certainly plenty of positives in my weekend, too. {Like I can see my desk again!}

So when I stumbled across this, it spoke to me.

I found it via the wonderful Gretchen Rubin of The Happiness Project and she was compiling a list of happiness quotes.

    Would you please just get on over and be grateful for your general loveliness on my blog one weekend? Don’t be in a funk, you are too gorgeous for that! x
