{snapshots} pops of colour + signs of spring

With the introduction of Lime Lane Photography, I’ve decided to take the technical emphasis of photography away from this site and have it more over there. And instead, I thought these Monday {snapshot} posts could be more personal and personable. It will be a nice way to kick off the week and, for me, ensure I keep taking photos through the everyday.

But dont’ worry, I still share the occasional timelapse. Or more than occasionally.

So around here, I’m noticing more colour creeping into the everyday. The blossoms are blooming, the trees are starting to show their green shoots. And the bulbs are flowering. Mind you, we had a weekend of rain, cold winds and overcast skies ~ not conducive to my photography plans at all. But dare I say it ~ spring is on its way?

The Olympics have left the smallest with a desire to play ping pong. Cue the “tap, tap, tap” of ball against wall. I  think it is the attraction of a ball sport played inside that appeals.

Much more soothing is the eldest and his music practice ~ with everything from Somebody that I Used to Know to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Even the most stuttering practice is still beautiful to listen to.

In other news, I gave my desk a quick tidy, and in the process of moving stuff around discovered my Diana Mini had a lens cap. It was still in the box. How about that?!
