Last week I got a little cabin fever and knew I had to get out and take some photos. Trouble is I didn’t know where to go ~ having to be home when the smalls walked through the door at the end of the day curtailed the adventures somewhat.
So I headed to the tried and true ~ the local gardens. As it turns out, there have been lots of changes ~ whole garden beds ripped out and replaced ~ but there were some spots of colour around which naturally left me longing for spring all the more. {A wet and miserable weekend has also contributed to this.}
The camellias are flowering ~ so many stunning varieties.
Ever get the feeling someone has been there before you ~ I imagine a little girl sitting here and arranging these in a little path.
This little pink flower was just beautiful ~ I love this simple blossoms. {I also shared a little yellow pom pom flower on Saturday taken nearby}.
These were part of a purple and white carpet of flowers. Just beautiful. They also got “polaroided”.
And, after a cold and soggy day watching football, I made soup and this cheesy bread for dinner. I made a dough in the bread machine and used a Philadelphia flavoured tub with some added garlic for the spread. Was really quite simple and delicious. Got a big thumb’s up from the Mr.
I’ve also been working on some more timelapses ~ am absolutely hooked ~ and taking some film photos. The sun is shining today and hopefully the lovely weather continues.
Here’s to a creative week!

Hello! I'm Kellie and here I collect inspiration ~ beautiful photos, words on creativity, lovely printables and handmade items. I love autumn, cameras, and of course, the colour lime.

Gorgeous snaps! So good to get out, isn’t it? I make myself do that too now. That bread looks amazing btw!

Thanks Kylie, I need to remind myself to do it more often. And the bread was delicious, definitely give it a go. So simple and easy once you have the dough. Thoroughly recommend it.
How beautiful…and the camellias are gorgeous
Thanks Aggie. Amazing flowers, really.
Beautiful photos, and your talk about comfort food on soggy days makes me just a little more excited for Autumn to show up!

Thanks Gretchen. Funny how we are always longing for that season on the other side of the world! Grass is greener and all that. You will be wishing for the warmer weather again soon enough
