The thing that has filled my heart with all sort of spring gladness is the blossoms. I love winter ~ the food, the fashion, the snuggling in ~ but this winter has been a bit grey and I’m ready for some colour.
What caught my eye was a row of pink blossom trees ~ nothing short of divine. I passed them every day and when the sun came out and shone on their full branches they just filled the world with colour.
Spring arrived smack bang on time, sunshine and blue skies {seriously ~ look at this!} since September 1. The magnolias are blooming and carpeting the branches. I’m ignoring the impending forecast of a drop in temperatures and more rain, and today looking for those pops of colour that just shout “spring” in a very loud voice.
And for me, while not a “pink person” at all, it seems everything is prettier in pink.
Naturally, it made me think of this quote. This week, I believe in pink.
