sunday snapshot // the queenslander

I thought, with Valentine’s Day coming up, today’s snapshot should be something romance related.

When I stumbled upon this on the Flickr commons, it immediately made me smile. The girl’s delight at a letter, the bright red postbox, the watchful cupid.

This cover of the Queenslander is actually from September 1930, so I’m not sure of the significance of the timing.

But it makes me think this is exactly how you should when you get a Valentine.
