The week started on a great note. A drive and lunch at a lovely winery ~ Baileys ~ with friendly staff and great food.
But typically all the action is in the bookends of the week. The days between were hectic, chaotic and rushed.
Lots of coffee to make it through.
It was like I was holding my breath, finally exhaling at the end of the week when we headed off on a quick trip to the big city!
Heading up the Hume.
Hello Sydney! We had an amazing view from our suite at the Quay West in The Rocks. And the city turned on a spectacular day for us.
One of the reasons we were there we were lucky enough to be invited to a Skylanders event to check out the new Swap Force game due out in October. Forget the view, this was easily the highlight of the trip for the boys and now they are patiently, or actually not so patiently, waiting for the launch of the game in six weeks. Countdown is on!
I sure am going to miss this view when I sit back down to work this week. I’m quite sure I would be much more productive sitting there! Don’t you think. And yes, that’s the pool which we made sure to go and check out, too. And the lights twinkling out the back window ~ that would be the Harbour Bridge!
Some classic car spotting on the way home. Sadly, all good things must come to an end.
