I think that men know how to romance a woman and most do it well, at least for a time, otherwise women wouldn’t marry them. The problem is that most of them begin to rest on their laurels. ~ Nicholas Sparks
I think that most of us that have been with a significant other for any length of time can probably relate to Nick there.
Not to confuse love with romance but who doesn’t want to be unexpectedly swept off their feet every now and then.
Although who I am kidding, flowers are nice but sometimes romance can be him doing the dishes while you catch up on the latest episode of The Block.
Luckily, romance can always be found within the pages of a good book. I’ve got to admit, I’m a sucker for those lovey-dovey titles where boy meets girl, boy annoys girl, girl flounces off, boy redeems himself, boy and girl meet happily ever after.
This week at Bookworld it’s Romance Week with specials on different books and genres all week. Check back each day for new titles.
Plus get an extra 15% off romance titles with the code BW-ROMANCEWK. Just sign up to be a Bookworld Citizen (free) plus there’s free shipping for all purchases.
The lovely people at Bookworld are also giving away a book pack worth $155 with a selection of new romance titles including a signed copy of Nicholas Sparks’ The Longest Ride.
Just tell me what romance means to you. A grand sweeping gesture, surprise flowers, a proposal, or just something in the every day?
