It’s that time of year ~ have you hit the shops yet to do your Christmas shopping? Made a list, checked it twice.
I’m at stage one ~ thinking about lists.
The smalls, however, are on the ball and have made their lists, in duplicate.
So in the lead-up to Christmas, I thought I might put together some zesty gift guides, and a bit of hint to what might be in Christmas stockings at our house on December 25. [Good thing none of the family really read here!]
Starting with the smalls. So if you are out shopping for boys aged 10 to 12, these are a few of the things that might be on their Christmas lists, too, this year.
- Something you want // Lego, Lego Lego [always popular and the great thing is it comes in a range of sizes and prices!] This year we have our eyes on the Arctic series! And Skylanders ~ the quest continues. [Skylanders have also been nominated in the annual Toy of The Year awards in both the boy and girl categories!]
- Something you need // A new doona cover like this astronaut one by Snurk, available at Down that Little Lane and some storage for their bits and bobs ~ upcycled record containers from retrograndma
- Something to wear // Sunglasses [Frankie Ray from Eye Tribe] for our long hot summer ~ and to be cool ~ and new pyjamas from Peter Alexander
- Something to read // Hogwarts Library for your favourite Harry Potter fan ~ check your favourite bookstore ~ and a Star Wars moleskeine from Notemaker, to write their own stories.
