{friday freebies} favourites with a Christmas twist

christmas deer gift tags in blue

I’ve got not one but two downloads for you today. Christmas is less than a month away now and I noticed these little red deer tags were getting a bit of attention after long being a favourite on the blog. So I thought it was time  I gave them a new look in time for this Christmas.

I’ve redone the tags in a blue, they match well with a crisp white cardstock.

a merry chevron christmas

I’ve also redone the chevron notecard into a Christmas card in classic red and green. A perfect accompaniment to all those teacher gifts.

Pssst. Plus, if you are a newsletter subscriber, you’ll get each of these in another colour way. The newsletter will be going out this afternoon. Sign up here.

{friday freebies} don’t forget to say thank you

{friday freebies} say thank you

It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.  ~Author Unknown

It’s November, which means thanksgiving in the US this month, and lately I’ve been thinking about gratitude and thankfulness. And how important it is to say thank you for even the smallest thing. Whether it is the kindly gentleman who holds the door as you enter the bank, or your husband who has done the dishes every night this week.

Today, I’m going to quickly share three things I’m thankful for this week:

  • A wonderful and supportive husband who has done the dishes a lot this week!
  • Having grandparents around to take babysitting duties for when we want a night out
  • For online friends and conversations on Twitter and in emails.

What are you thankful for this week?

  1. Thanks card by Squirrel in the Attic at How About Orange
  2. Simple striped thank you from The Handmade Home
  3. Thank you postcard by Melissa Esplin at delightfully engaged
  4. A fold-up thank you note from I Love It All
  5. Thank you note from Tip Junkie
