So society6 have an awesome sale on at the moment where you get free shipping on most items and $5 off each item. It runs until Sunday.

I’m really loving having items with society6, not only for the ease of it all but also because of the items available.

Where else could I sell, shower curtains, clocks and rugs.

These are some of the items now available in my society6 shop and I thought I would pick out some items i thought worked well in the various products.

The shower curtains are one way to really inject some personality into your bathroom and why not start every day with a beautiful sunrise!

The totes are a bit hit and miss for me but I could easily carry a camera tote around, great for quick snapping trips.

I love the clocks, and the fact you can select different finishes and hand colours to suit the image.

The rug are relatively simple and cheap but the pencil images, and the thread images, would be great in a classroom or  craft room, don’t you think?

Crafty types might also like this set of CMYK cushions.

Now the “dreams don’t work” mug is one of my firm favourites, I love the way the design works here, and ditto the pencils. Teacher’s gifts anyone?

And I have to add in a phone case and this is one of my favourites ~ the pola rainbow. It’s a shame it cuts off a couple of colours but it still looks pretty cool.

Society6 shared this video which shows their art prints in manufacture from start to finish. Fascinating to see where it all comes from.

Tell me, what’ your favourite product and how would you use it?

shop news // society6 wall clocks

You might have seen the buzz about society6 introducing wall clocks to their expanding range of products.

I’m loving their minimalist design and the choices so you can mix and match with the work and your decor.

The clocks are available in natural wood, black or white frames, are 10″ (about 25cm)  in diameter, sits 1.75″ (4.5cm) deep and feature a high-impact plexiglass crystal face and a backside hook for easy hanging.

Plus you can choose black or white hands to match the wall clock frame and art choice. They use one AA battery and are $30 each.

These are some of the ones presently available in the 74 Lime Lane shop but I have plans to add more and more to this shop front this year.

{the pulp} randomness

random

Chance doesn’t mean meaningless randomness, but historical contingency. This happens rather than that, and that’s the way that novelty, new things, come about. ~ John Polkinghorne

I’m having a hard time focusing at the moment? Is is the season? The ideas? The end of the year approaching?

I’m feeling in need of a change, a shake-up. So today, a little bit of housekeeping.

Personally I like timing, neat and sensible timing. Ideally I would wait until January 1 or some other auspicious date to change things, but I’m feeling impatient and can’t wait that long. So the final week in November it is.

  • If you click over, I’ve made a small change to the header.
  • Though usually quite beholden to my editorial calendar, I’m going to let loose for a bit and see how it goes. This is usually an annual event and after a bit I usually fall back into my regimented ways but a shake-up is good for the soul.
  • You may have noticed {zesty finds} has fallen a bit by the wayside of late so I’m going give it the biggest shake-up and take them over to social media channels ~ Twitter & Facebook ~ but don’t worry if you aren’t on those sites, I’ll do a weekly round-up as part of {zesty tweets} as well.

I’m already thinking, planning and brainstorming for 2013. I feel underwhelmed by 2012 and am setting myself some goals for a bigger and better new year. Now hopefully I can find some extra hours in the day to do all the things I want too.

And some shop news:

on society6

These are some of my products on society6. The site introduced throw pillows {top} last week and I love the way they look. The second row is stationery cards and the third row totes. There are also iPhone cases, laptop skins and more. {If there is something from the archives you would like included over there, let me know and I’ll add it!}

And there’s free shipping today. Stock up now for Christmas!

Keep an eye on the Etsy shop, too, for some new prints.

Phew, I’m glad to have that off my chest. How are  you finding things as the end of year approaches?
