{new in the shop ~ all in a row}
So you may, or may not know, I have a shop, shops actually in various guises, selling my photos and a few postcards and things. It ticks along in the background while I’m busy doing other things and while I send out orders, I rarely “play shop”.
And that was the one thing I wanted to change while I was on holidays this month. With the time to devote to it and to bringing some of my ideas to fruition, one goal was to get the Lime Lane shop back out there.
In fact, without me noticing, on the good side the Etsy shop is only 10 sales away from 200! And we all know how I loved a good milestone. On the downside, I didn’t realise the shelves of my madeit shop and emptied.
So over the weekend I restocked and made some changes.
I’ve put up the prices a little, not a lot, and everything now comes with free shipping.
Shipping has to be the biggest bone of contention with online businesses. It can be such a hassle to correctly guestimate, take account all the costs and then explain that to the customer. So I’ve decided to go down the path of absorbing it into the prices instead.
