wednesday

A lovely series of short interviews  ~ On a Wednesday.

I do like the early morning. I like the quiet of the early morning. When you can open the windows and listen to the birds. And then, again I like late nights. It’s quiet. I like the quiet. ~ Michelle

It’s charming, real, it’s the everyday and it’s a little bit inspiring, too.

It’s perfect for your Wednesday.

freshly squeezed // an interview with Joel Robison

I Speak For The Trees

I’ve posted about the amazing work of Joel Robison aka Boy Wonder before here but there’s a great interview with him at Explore.Create.Repeat.

I love this work, too, entitled “I Speak for the Trees” inspired by The Lorax and part of his summer reading series.

Teaching myself rather than others was actually a nice change of pace, it’s much easier to know your own limits and learning styles and how to make the most of what you want to learn.

The popular calendar makers Crush of the Month are now a shop!

Extending their range and in a move to support the talented artists and character creators, Crush is selling their cute printables and has started a monthly subscription model.

The classic July calendar is a homage to the White Stripes, the storytelling subscription starts its adventure in Paris while the group also have a free download ~ this month in honour of Bastille Day with Marie and her Headsman. It’s one way to teach a moment in history!
