It’s an all-Australian round-up in the neighbourhood today, so keeping things very close to home.

Such a wonderful time of year in these parts ~ blossoms are starting to unfurl on the trees, the bright green shoots are starting to sprout on the branches and the promise of spring beckons. Spring is certainly the season for inspiration for me and you will certainly find a healthy dose of it right here.

  1. We’ve been enjoying some beetroot lately so will have to bookmark this recipe from Foxs Lane for pickled beetroot
  2. The boys were quite taken with the Middle Eastern food on the recent MasterChef episodes, so I might have to pop this on the menu ~ Olive, mint and hazelnut and labneh with zatar pita at The Design Files
