{DIY pulp} quick teacher’s gift with download

quick teacher gift

The end of school nears and so does yet another deadline, the teacher’s gift. So I thought I would share a quick idea and download that you might be able to use in the stocking of your favourite teacher.

For you, and our favourite teachers, a one-page A4 2012 calendar featuring (i) a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils and (ii) a vintage piano. These are for our school and music teachers.

I’m combining these with some handmade soaps and something yummy.

Or you can just use the calendar for yourself or for family and friends stocking stuffers.

It’s Christmas and I finally have a new printer ~ celebrations all round.

New month means a new project over at the Creative Collective. It’s time to finish ~ all those WIPs, all those half-finished projects in the back of the cupboard, time to get them out and get them done.

Details over here.

all the crafty types ~ put a cork on it

DIY ~ corks tutorials

One thing I’ve seen around a lot lately is cork tutorials. It’s like everyone knows I have a massive pile corks around the house. So here’s some fun tutorials to upcycle those cork hoards, some look so simple I might even give them a go!

so what’s all this hoopla about?

So the Creative Collective project this month is “in the hoop”.

I’ve been taking some photos for our weekly link love {today over here ~ share your projects or progress} and had to share this little outtake.

My photography assistant checking out the lighting, or something.

At the same time, I am brewing up some ideas for my own hoopy project ~ which doesn’t involve any stitching.

Wondering if anyone can help me? How do I back a hoop? Or stop material fraying?

Intriguing, non?
